A Few Random Apartments

Here are three apartments we decided not to live in.  I swear I took pictures of more apartments, but I guess I just thought I took more pictures.  I thought it might be fun for you to look through these apartments.

So the apartment you just saw was pretty much perfect.  It had been completely redone.  The inside was by far the nicest we saw.  A couple things we didn't like.  We didn't like the stupid little excuse of a couch, we didn't like the dark cement stairwell, we didn't really like the little street the apartment opened up into.  We also didn't really like the neighborhood all that much.  In fact after we saw the place, we went back down and walked around the surrounding streets.  We were not impressed.  Anyways, we asked the landlord to replace the couch, and buy a desk.  The landlord said it was too much hassle and she would just wait until someone liked the apartment as is.  Thank goodness this apartment fell through.  In hindsight, this most likely would have been a mistake.

This was the strangest place I have ever seen.  I am not too sure the pictures really show to corkyness of it.  Look back up at the pictures of the bathroom.  Notice that huge glass wall?  That is the same glass wall you see from the bottom of the stairs looking up.  One side of the bathroom wall (the one looking down the stair) is completely glass and open to view.  The shower is right there too.  So strange.

This is the last apartment we were seriously looking at renting.  I think we liked everything about it except it was not in the main complex we wanted to be in.  Granted it was only across the street, it was still not in the complex.  It was really big.  I actually thought it was a little too big.  We don't have enough stuff to make it feel like a home.  Now looking back at these pictures, it was a really nice apartment, but I am glad we followed the spirit and kept looking!
