We got out to the taxi pickup area (at the Nanjing Airport) and our taxi driver was less than thrilled to have to deal with us. In fact he literally stood next to me with one hand on his hip and the other on the trunk ans watched me struggle to get all our luggage into his little car. It was actually quite funny.
Josh thought he was in heaven getting to stand on the back seat of a car with mom (well if I recall correctly, Tawny sat most of the time, lol).
As we drove into the city, we both mentioned to each other how we just felt like we were home. We didn't feel like we were traveling to a destination, we felt like we were arriving home. It was a really peaceful confirmation.
