Summer Hair Cut

Spencer was gone all day today on a business trip so I thought to myself “I’m going to go get Josh a haircut.” He really needed one for the summer and I knew Spencer didn’t want me to cut his hair the way I wanted to, which is like all the other cute little Chinese boys, so I did it while he was gone J

 So I have heard lots of different reasons as to why some Chinese practice this “hair cut” and I get lots of different answers so….Some say it is for good luck, others say it is to protect that spot of the head because taking a blow there would lead to retardation, some say it is to make babies unappealing to evil spirits. For whatever reason, I think it is really cute and while I was here last time and pregnant I always wanted to just try it. Obviously I couldn't get away with it in America so I thought why not? And don’t worry It only cost me like 80 cents and some of you might be thinking I still paid to much J
