Josh has been really into textures lately, rice, beans, popcorn, noodles. He likes to run his fingers through them. So, I thought maybe he would like something a little more slimy. While at the store I just picked up a few things that were really cheap.

These are some kind of pickled beets or radishes.
He really didn't like the taste of them and they smelt gross.
We also had some pickled chicken toes and some kind of animal skin.
I also found some little Jello snacks that he liked to eat and squish.
I found some packaged Chicken feet thinking Josh might be interested
Josh really liked the taste of theses and kept eating them.
THOSE ARE THE GROSSEST LOOKING TOYS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!
ReplyDeleteOn a related note, I used to let my kids play with shaving cream in the bathtub or on a cookie sheet because it has a fun texture. You can put a laminated picture on a tray and let Josh cover it with shaving cream and then find parts of the picture.
Shaving cream good idea! I'll try that one next. As long as he doesn't try to eat it. :)
DeleteThat is the coolest thing ever! What a good idea-Jason's brother's family just got chickens. I can't wait to show them these pictures....he he he.
ReplyDeleteBailee I knew when you saw this you would laugh maniacally :) :) :)
DeleteSo funny, and creative good for you Tawny. I see Spencer liked playing with the stuff also. I only let my kids play with finger paints. Sorry kids. Well, I guess their food they were supposed to be eating got played with a lot too. :) mom
