Day 2

We had to take a 30 min metro ride, wait 20 minutes for a bus, then take the bus for an hour but we finally made it to the beach. Spencer and I both have fond memories of visiting the beach when we were little. I however am deathly afraid of the water, good thing Spencer is not -I blame my parents for letting me watch Rescue 911- We would love for our kids to be able to visit the ocean and have good memories there.

No one, and I mean no one, likes to see water racing towards
 them while they are standing on the sand. Not even Josh.

If you were to ask Josh what is in his hand he would say
"a she-shell"

Josh just wanted to throw sand on his dad because he
could tell Spencer really didn't want him too :) what a tease

We got him a tube to sit in but he didn't trust it.
Spencer taught him they are called "water pillows"
maybe because Josh loves the word pillow.

Ya his sunglasses broke in 5 seconds. But they were only
80 cents

Some little boy found this sea creature and wanted to show Josh

This isn't a pool but just a stepping pool where you can wash
off your feet of the sand before you walk inside the hotel.
 Josh just thought it was a pool, so we played for a
 bit after all it is his vacation as well.

I had to keep his shirt on him because after being
at the beach for like 2 hours we were burnt. 
Lesson learned,don't get sun burnt the first day of
 the vacation :(

While we were cleaning up Josh was relaxing watching his
veggie tales, and eating peanut butter and m&m's of course

I love the ships in the background. Shenzhen is a huge
exporting city and we were right by a huge port. There
were always ships coming and going. Its pretty cool.

Nothing says vacation like McDonald. I'm not a huge fan of
McDonald back home but here I need my McDonald

It was so hot and humid that just standing still
 Spencer was dripping beads of sweat.

End of Day 2 Josh fell asleep at 6:30 on the bus ride
back to the hotel
