This weekend was our district conference in Shanghai and we were so excited to go. Not only was Church so uplifting, inspiring, and faith building, we got to show Josh some of the sites in Shanghai and why we love this city. For me Shanghai is my all time favorite city in China. (other than Nanjing...now) Shanghai is magical. We went to this street our first day in China and it never gets boring. Although I wouldn't want to live in Shanghai I would love to visit all the time.

| A beautiful walking street, Josh loved all the lights, and street shows. |
| He was looking and pointing at everything |
Josh eats what he calls YUMMY RICE twice a day. Its eggs, tomatoes, and rice. We are working on his chopstick skills |
Spencer of course had to stop at his favorite restaurant for some xiaolongbao. We like to think of it as food of the Gods. It is amazing. |
| Famous sign on the walking street |
At the bund. Josh loved the water and the ball tower in the back and the boats that were all lit up. |
We walked all the way to the end of the walking street and thought we would take the little train back up so we didn't have to walk. Josh was excited. |
Josh loves umbrellas, lucky for him people here use them year round. And he was so excited when it started raining. He wanted to get down and walk with his umbrella. I think he looks so cute and tiny. |
A tradition while on vacation. Once we are home for the night Josh gets to eat Ice Cream in bed while watching a movie. This is a triffecta for him Nemo, Ice cream, ball. We found some awesome Beats headphones for plane rides too |
our branch paid for a bus to Shanghai, it was 4 1/2 hours long...Fast train 1 hour. But we enjoyed it and spending time with friends in the branch |
Oh yeah, I forgot about yummy rice. Jamie and I got that all the time. That and cold noodles-delicious. Sometimes I'd even mix them. I may have to make that for lunch.
