The Zoo

Taking the METRO to the Zoo.
He likes to get his own seat.
We have ALL been so sick this past week it seems like forever since I’ve blogged J but we haven’t done much until today. There is a zoo here in Nanjing and I kind of have wanted to go just to mark it off our list of things to do here. We knew that it wouldn’t be that good. Neither of us consider ourselves to be big animal rights activists and maybe we just watch too much of The Lion King but the zoo was pretty sad they need to be free and part of the circle of Life. Regardless we thought Josh might enjoy it. So here are some pictures. Josh really liked the hippos, kangaroos, monkeys, and Zebras.

Josh and I with the Tigers. He kind of liked the tigers,
but they looked sad and just laid there.
We were bummed no lions
were out because he still LOVES lions.

I could not get a picture of him with the Elephant because he
was not about to turn his back to him. He liked it but was
very cautious.

We stopped for some lunch and played.
There isn't grass for playing
on so its a good thing Josh likes soccer  all he  wants to do is
kick and run after balls with his dad. I don't think
Spencer will be better than him for much longer :)
This guy was walking through and pulled out his
big camera to snap some shots. Which was fine because
Josh didn't even notice.  We have really cracked
down on the picture taking of Josh.
Josh likes to be held ALOT lately which is fine with me.
 I really like it too!

He liked the Giraffe's from a distance.
Feeding the Giraffe

Poor little Monkeys! People would throw
there trash in the cages and the monkeys
would go get it and try to eat things like plastic
bottles and candy wrappers it was really sad.
What is a trip to the Zoo with out Angry Birds :)
