Joshua Allen Streeter

Josh is probably the smartest 20 month old you will ever met. He is starting to put together sentences and learning all kinds of new words also in Chinese. I've been trying to teach him his full name and my full name and Spencer's full name and why that is our names but he hasn't said his own name yet. He just calls himself Joshy :) Spencer will tell him stories of how we met and fell in love and he will sit really quietly and listen. I will tell him about when we were pregnant and how excited we were to have a little boy named Joshua! I love seeing his little mind thinking.Tonight he got out of bed and Spencer picked him, walked back into his room and Josh pointed to our room and said "This bed.., Mom bed" :) He likes to snuggle me in bed. If any Chinese person is looking at Josh, approaching Josh, or even says Hello to Josh he Yells NO! and runs away. If you ever ask Josh "How much ( insert anything here)" the answer is always 2. How many days in a week? 2. How many cars on the road? 2. How many pillows...2. Or just say How many its 2 :) If you ask him what he wants for dinner...the answer is Pizza Hut. I don't know where he got that from, we rarely eat there but he does like pizza! He loves fishing with a stick and a magnet and I made cut out paper fish and put a paper clip on it so it would stick. He really likes fish still. When we go to the store Josh always reminds me that we always have to stop by the fish to look at them. Today there was a big, inflated pool, with fish in it and we counted all the fish and spotted a turtle and a toad! Josh loves hide and seek, doing the laundry, cooking, playing basketball, being outside, and throwing things in the garbage. I feel so lucky to have Josh who is a happy and healthy and who can adjust to anything we throw at him!
