Happy Halloween

We asked Josh what HE wanted to be for Halloween and he said Pizza Hut! We asked him everyday for about 3 weeks and every time he was sure he wanted to be Pizza Hut. Well, Spencer and I went back and forth. Should we make him some kind of pizza costume or our other option was a lion outfit our friend let us borrow, she used it last year for her little boy and it was really cute. So, Friday as Spencer was looking at his sisters Halloween Pictures on Facebook he was talking about how good there costumes always are and how fun they make it and Spencer said, we messed up. I knew that meant we need to hurry and put together a pizza costume for Josh, so we did. He liked it and wore if fore about 1/2 the night.

Spencer put together the costume and it turned out really cute!

This is Joshy's little buddy from Church.  For us Halloween was on October 28th this year. Seeing as how the Chinese don't really celebrate this pagan holiday we knew we needed to ask our friends that live in an EX-PAT community if we could tag along. Holidays are so much more fun with a baby so I didn't want to mess out!

Josh with his cheesy smile. He loved the idea of getting candy from someone by just walking up to there door :)

One of our friends kids was a pirate with an eye patch and a fake beard and Josh was so terrified of him. All night he would say "where is the pirate?" And we would say he is with his friends or at home and I would explain it was this boy from church and tomorrow he will wash his face and change his clothes and he won't be a pirate anymore. Well, Josh wasn't satisfied with any answer. While trying to but him to bed he kept saying "Pirate get me." "pirate scare you" which means the pirate scared him. Needless to say he was up till 12:30 scared out of his mind about this pirate so we put on a movie and eventually he got tired enough to fall asleep :) He is so fun and so cute. I think I can finally say I want him to stop growing and pause at this age for a bit.
