Honey Baby (Maybe we are getting Crazier the longer we are here?

So this past month, I have been thinking a lot about Joshy and being here in China. I don't know if I'd say I feel inspired, but lately I have felt very strongly that I need to help him learn Chinese. If you can follow my thought process, it started with... If we were home in America eventually I would sign him up for baseball or soccer and he would go practice and have games and I would cheer him on and support him and pay for it. So, then what is the difference with learning a language? Then, I thought about the kids I tutor, their parents are so dedicated to them learning English they spend hours and hours helping their children study each week, and will spend a ton of money on schools and tutors. And I really like that. So, because Spencer is so supportive we were leaning towards getting a part time nanny to do the dishes :)  but also to play and speak with Josh and I. However, last week as I was walking to the store I pasted place called Honey Baby. I've walked by their hundreds of times but this time I went inside. I knew it was a baby school. So I thought I would just go in and look. They offered me a free class to try the following Saturday so I took Josh. We went to a music class and it took Josh most of class to warm up to his teacher and the idea of it, but by the end, he didn’t want to leave, and he would yell for his teacher saying, “teacher, come here!” Needless to say it was kind of an answer to what I wanted. Of course we are going to just try it for a few days to make sure Josh is okay with it, he is after all still so young, but I feel good about it. He will go 5 days a week from 8 to noon. It will give us a schedule and routine which Josh so badly needs and i hate to say it but most importantly give me some time to do homework, clean, organize my lesson plans, and maybe, hopefully, have some time to spend with my amazing husband. I have yet to find a downside to this Chinese school he will go to and hopefully it will benefit all of us. If this works out I'll never want to leave! :)

The teacher told a story about mice drinking beer :)

She handed out triangles for the kids to play, Josh liked it.

They all got to play this big instrument, Josh loved watching her.

He did pretty good not having to sit on my lap the whole time.
