Hong Kong Temple

 HONG KONG TEMPLE

Josh got his own seat luckily
on the plane ride to Hong Kong
This is at the park right next to Temple housing. It was a pretty good park.

So I'm teaching Josh to call his Grandpa Rosenvall his Granddad,
only because that is what my dad always calls his grandpa
so I thought we would get that one rolling.
Anyways I told him all about his granddad coming
to this temple for work and how he has walked on this
same street and looking at this same water fountain etc...
Shared Kitchen in the new temple housing. There was a group
of Thai people there with us and there food  smelled so good.
Spencer might have stolen a piece of meat out of
the microwave while no one was in the room :)
We had the room all to ourselves.
Bathroom and shower
Josh loves just staring at the water
This is inside the front gates. This sweet little Thai lady
wanted Josh to give her some attention so bad but
he is terribly shy. So she pulled out a piece of
chocolate.
He loves candy
I made sure he went and gave her a hug before I would open it for him.

I just thought this was funny. Right across from the
mission home is a school of theology.
One thing I like about the Chinese is there love
of tai-qi you can notice in the back ground

This is a view from the park, I love the statue on the temple.
This is a church, mission president office,
distribution center, and temple patron housing.

Here is just a view of the temple on the left and
our housing on the right. Super close

  1. Thanks for posting those pictures. I love seeing the Temple and the grounds. It is beautiful. Josh seemed to like the trip. I laughed when the lady won him over with chocolate. He is sooo cute.
